Coming atcha a whole year older today. Last week on December 10th, I turned 29 years old!
So it’s officially the last year of my twenties, and although that’s a little scary, I’ve never been more excited for the future! My glass is overflowing with gratitude, love, peace and positivity, and my life purpose is becoming clearer every day.
We celebrated my birthday at the Terranea Resort in Ranchos Palos Verde where we caught the most magical sunset (see here). If you live in the LA area, do yourself a favor and go visit The Terranea Resort! It was my first time visiting and I was in awe at what a beautiful property it was. I told Doug it felt like we had been transported to Santa Barbara- it did not feel like we were in LA! There are several bars and restaurants on-site, gorgeous cliffs, pools and amazing views you won’t see anywhere else.
After drinks and appetizers there we went to one of the most amazing Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to called Palmilla Cocina y Tequila. This spot is a hidden gem in Hermosa Beach (at the pier), and offers homemade flour tortillas with honey butter, handcrafted cocktails and some killer mole enchiladas and chile relleno. To die for!
This birthday was one for the books and deserved to be celebrated in nothing less than a gorgeous red sequin bodycon dress. This dress would be perfect for the holidays or NYE too, and is under $40. I am wearing a size XL in the dress but probably could’ve done a L. I’m wearing my favorite Calvin Klein bralette and Maidenform shapewear. The wine glass earrings were a gift from my friend Katie and they are from Beth Ladd Collections. I highly recommend this dress and think it would flatter pretty much any body type!

Red Sequin Bodycon Dress
