Neon jewel tones? For fall? Groundbreaking!
I’ve been pushing myself to break out of my comfort zone by continuing to incorporate bright colors into my wardrobe this fall. I love black, neutrals, and the traditional warm tones this season brings, but if I can find a way to weave in pinks, teals, and yellows, I will!
Today I wanted to share a fun way to play with colors while also keeping with a fall favorite which is leopard print. I was instantly drawn to this neon jewel-toned dress because of the gorgeous color. It sat in my closet for a while because I wasn’t quite sure how to style it, especially for fall. After about 10 minutes of playing dress-up and shopping my closet, I fell in love with the pairing of even bolder colors and patterns.
I love bright colors paired with leopard print and black (red, yellow, emerald green, royal blue, hot pink, etc), so try playing with those colors and prints as a starting point. And when in doubt, accessorize! Play around with colorful scarfs, headbands, purses and beanies.
I also wanted to take this moment as a PSA that just because it’s fall doesn’t mean you can no longer drink rosé! For a richer, less crisp rosé that will be delicious for fall try a rosé of Tempranillo, Cabernet Franc or Syrah. You should be able to tell what the grape is by checking the front of the label, or on the description on the back! 14Hands Wine makes an awesome rosé of Syrah, and this rosé of Cabernet Franc looks amazing!
