Whoever said you couldn’t wear white after Labor Day was seriously disturbed.
Ok maybe that was a little harsh, but white is a color you can wear year-round, and today’s outfit proves it! I tend to drift into darker colors this time of the year, and I’ve really been trying to incorporate more colors and think outside of the box (see the bright yellow sweater I styled earlier this season).
I got this oversized maroon and pink striped sweater a few weeks ago, and knew it’d be perfect to wear with black and white bottoms. The white pants paired with this striped color blocked sweater and mauve booties really made it pop, and gave it a more casual vibe.I absolutely love these rose gold toned booties and earrings, they are so fun. When I paired the sweater with black pants and black booties, it looked a bit more dressy (and perfect for a holiday party!).
However you wear this top, it’s always good to have at least one oversized sweater on hand during these chilly months! This one also comes in green and yellow, is super cozy, and it’s currently under $40. Size down two sizes for a less oversized look.
This look was great for strolling around on a chilly day in Long Beach with Doug as we celebrated Halloween and our 6 year anniversary (seriously can not believe it’s been 6 years!). This outfit would also be great to wear to work, brunch or a day of shopping with the girls!
